Dr. Kaplan studied medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. Once he received his medical degree, he completed his residency in internal medicine at Duke University Medical Center. After his residency. Dr. Kaplan continued his training with two fellowships in cardiovascular disease and cardiac electrophysiology at Emory University School of Medicine. In addition, he completed his Chief Residency in internal medicine at Grady Memorial/Emory University school of medicine.On top of this extensive training, Dr. Kaplan’s expertise and commitment to excellence have earned him certifications by American Board of Internal Medicine, with special focuses on cardiovascular disease and cardiac electrophysiology. He received his certification from the National Association of Physician and Surgeons, with special focuses on internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and clinical cardiac electrophysiology.Â
